SARAH BUCKLEY SAMIANI

public artist | designer | visual philosopher

I consider my body of work to be an anthropological study of a near-future society that could exist if our collective value system evolved toward pluralism, collaboration, and mutuality. Across disciplines, my practice explores interconnectivity: how we relate to one another and our inner nature.

I create large-scale, site-specific public art including murals, bas-reliefs, mosaics, stained glass, and wood marquetry integrated directly into architecture as a way to tell stories of our humanity in timeless materials.

My practice centers public art because shared spaces actively shape how we relate to one another. Architecture carries emotional weight, whether intentional or not. Through permanent, site-integrated artworks, I aim to contribute human-centered moments of pause, recognition, and reflection—embedding meaning directly into the spaces people move through every day.

I work with impactful organizations, architects, and cultural departments creating artwork for public spaces that encourage us to reimagine what it means to coexist.
